Assemblies giving error while re-installing

Hi,

Assemblies are giving an error, while repairing/reinstalling.

Solutions which we implemented:

1) We set transitive attributes to respective components: While repairing it did not throw, any error message. If those assemblies are alrerady present, and if we trigger repair, then those are getting deleted. Only if those assemblies are absent then those are getting retained.

condition in vendor msi:

MsiWin32AssemblySupport AND (NOT EXISTE.32710BD9_9098_4CF1_91AE_2C9E87B3B333)

Presumably, one or more of those conditions is False during a repair. Start your investigation from that point.

Installation is happening perfect. If assemblies are not there, then those are getting installed. Only at the time of repair it is creating a problem.

Hi,

When I analyze log-file then I found that, msiunpublishassemblies default custom action is getting triggered, at the time of repair. After that policy and cat file are getting removed.
