Are there any sites out there that will allow you to download template .vmx files to allow the quicker setting up of a virtual machine and not having to locate the source software?

cheers in advance.

For downlaod I don't think there is anything but maybe Microsoft will put together a VHD. They used to have a big Demo lab online but it looks like it is no more. Here are some SoftGrid Virtual labs that are still online.

For a complete list of Microsoft products and technologies in a VHD, visit the VHD Download Center - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/results.aspx?pocId=&freetext=msvhds&DisplayLang=en
