agent not updating the inventory

agent not updating the inventory  and also incorrect conf file found for version 7.0.

anyone facing this issue?

This unfortunately happens sometimes in our environment although it has been better in recent versions. I just correct the amp.conf file and restart the service then move on with my life.

The amp_auto.conf file is no longer used in 7.0. 
If you were to examine the contents of a 7.0 amp.conf file on device that it was just installed but has not made a successful connection to the K1000 over konea (port 443) . The 7.0 amp.conf file would contain just the entry host=<your k1>.
The additional information that appears in an amp.conf file is populated after it has successfully established a connection to the K1000.
Konea is what replaced AMP in previous versions of the Agent (< 7.0) and was the persistent connection back to the K1 over port 52230.

To really further investigate a 7.0 Agent issue, you may want to review the \programData\Dell\KACE\userKAgent.log and the \programData\Dell\KACE\konea.log for any errors reported or open a support ticket supplying this information.
