After Image deployment install K1000 application

Hello,

I have a question how you handle that. We are currently checking the options in K2000. Image deplyoment so far is almost clear.

I need a solution for new machines, which are never connected before to K1000 and K2000.

What is the easiest way to install application after the image deployment. I don't want create all the application from K1000 as pre-install tasks.

Is there a way to use directly the K1000 application to install.

Thank you for your help.

There are several ways of handling this. Please note firstly that applications get created under POST install tasks, not PRE.
Applications can be pushed from either appliance. Managed installations can be imported from K1000 as post install tasks.
This is all covered in Jumpstart training.

Yes I use the breadcrumb method and it works great. Post install task creates a custom registry key that a script on the K1000 picks up on and runs a final build script.

Thanks for the answers. It's working great.
