Advertisement error in SCCM

need you assistance on resolving error in SCCM deploing advertisement.

The program for advertisement "IIC20010 has failed because download of the content "IIC00034" - "Per-system unattended" has failed. The download failed because the content downloaded to the client does not match the content specified in the content source. Possible causes: The content on the distribution point has been manually modified, or a local administrator on the computer has modified the content in the computer's hash. Solution: Refresh the content on the distribution point and retry the download.

Thanks!

morbius,

You don't mention what you've attempted to resolve this issue.
I'm guessing that you've refreshed the DP's to ensure they have the latest version of the package.

Is it just one machine? Could it be the machine is corrupting the download - corrupt drive?

If you come back with some more information someone maybe able to assist you further.

Thanks,

I would do what it suggests, refresh the package on your distribution point.

Right click on your package
Select Manage Distribution Points
Click NEXT
Select 'Update all distribution points with a new package source version'
Click NEXt through the rest of the wizard.

Alternatively, you can change your advertisement to 'Run program from distribution point' and this will eliminate this error by not downloading he software to the PC's cache (but this may not be what you've decided on as a standard within SCCM for your firm).
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
