I used the cust acction wizard and created the mst. when I installed the app, I had to download E-licesencing. Now I read soemwhere that e-licesensing has been discontinued. Is that correct. Do you think I have an older setup.exe?

Please let me know.

One of the few good things that Adobe did with their new setups was to get rid of that crap.

If you're a volume licensed customer, you should go out through your ESD logon and download the Acrobat installs that don't require the ALM junk.
