It is a Windows Installer MSI setup already, what specific problem are you encountering in deploying the MSI via GPO?

I'm very new to this and I'm not sure what you mean by Windows Installer MSI? My problem is I have the Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 with me and I want to install into 10 PCs via GPO instead of having to install individual.

I haven't done a lot install via gpo, but one software that I'v succeed was office 2003. I've tried the same way as I tried with office 2003, but it didn't apply to the end users machine. So what do I need to do to get it work.

If it attempted and failed you should see the failure and any error code in the Windows Event Viewer (eventvwr.exe) -- look under Application Log.

When you have an error code to research you can use the AppDeploy database to understand what it means and hopefully some pointers as to how to correct it:

If the event log entry does not provide enough detail, I recommend turning on verbose logging to see more:

Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
