Adobe CS4 and Deployment Toolkit
Has anyone tried deploying CS4 Master Collection using the Adobe supplied "Deployment Toolkit?"
I've obtained the toolkit from Adobe, and read through the accompanying instructions:
http://www.adobe.com/aboutadobe/openoptions/pdfs/deploymenttoolkit_cs4_help.pdf
I've created a single install point (i.e. copied all of the DVD payloads, etc to a shared folder on my network)
I then ran the toolkit from my admin PC, which allows you to enter a package name, your install configuration details, and creates a folder with the installer & xml file at your chosen output destination (which I set as the above network share folder).
According to the instructions I should now be able to test the install package by going to my admin machine and running the installer from the network share.
However, when I do this, all I get is an hourglass for a few seconds, followed by nothing happening at all?
I know it is supposed to be a silent install, but I've left the machine for several hours & come back, but nothing's installed?
I'm in contact with Adobe Support, but I have deadlines looming, and don't work to Fillipino time!! : P
Can anyone help?

An easy way to check if it's still running or not after the hourglass disappears is checking for any adobe or setup.exe in the taskmanager.... Or msiexec. Anything that could have to do with it.
At least you can be sure if it's running or not.
Another way might be starting the installer in a command prompt. start it from a command prompt that you opened manually, it won't close when the installer quits and might give you an error code.
