Adobe 8 Standard issue

I installed Adobe Standard 8.0 with an MST file using Adobe Customization Wizard. I accidentally set the wrong settings when I setup the package. So when I installed on 22+ pc's they all have the wrong settings[:@]. I remotely removed Adobe 8 using the msiexec command to remove adobe. I then corrected the settings in the MST and then repushed to those pc's. I then checked the settings on those pc's and they were the settings from the old MST file. How do I resolve this? I have searched the registry and can't find anything related to those settings.

Any help is much appreciated.[:)]

Hi,

I am not deployment expert but i think your MSI is referring to the previously cached transform file. The transform and MSI is cached in C:\WINDOWS\Installer.

I am not sure how you resolve this issue. But i am sure a lot of guys in this forum would be able to provide you with a solution.[:)]

Cheers

I have, in the past, resorted to simply deleting the cached MSI folder.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
