Administrative Rights Check with MSI

Hi there,

I usse Zenworks for Distibution.
The administrative setup of OpenOffice 2.0 creates a MSI which checks while installation if I'm using an administrator-account.
The Problem is that Zenworks installs the Package with System-rights. MSI didn't find the administrativ attribut.

A time ago I read about a Property in the MSI-Package, how to disable this checking. Unfortunatly I lost the information. Anyone some ideas how this key/property is called?

thanks
Martin Schraml

These checks can be done differently depending on how the vendor felt at the time.

I would look into the AppSearch table and also check the Custom Actions around the beginning of the sequence tables.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
