ADMIN INSTALL FOR MSI
Is there a way of making an msi install with admin priviledges using WISE or INSTALLSHIELD?. i have this msi that installs fine as an ADMIN but self heals several times as NORMAL USER.

hi giz,
if you set the regkey AllwaysInstallElevated=2 (there are two locations one in HKLM one in HKCU) the msi will
get some more rights (well actually all msi's, you might consider to set them back to =0 after your install is done).
with common deployment tools like sms or zenworks, you can run the msi in "system context"
if you just want to use your msi
problem might be regkeys or folders/files where the user has no access -> find them using regmon and filemon(or any tool
capable of tracing reg or file changes) and set the proper permissions in your application.
