Adding odbc to uninstall msi
hi,
i'm trying to add odbc settings to my msi. adding registry settings or windows installor can't seems to work..my msi will going to uninstall this application using msi script under wise any ideas where i should add ODBC in msi .. have noted there is under msi script option called Install ODBC ... but it gives me error any other options i have.. thanks

Forget the ODBC tables.
Make sure that you put all the relevant ODBC information from the registry into the msi.
HKLM\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBC.INI (you need the folders as well as the information withing the ODBC Data Sources SubFolder).
If you need to install a driver, then you need to add information from within HKLM\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBCINST.INI (and the appropriate ODBC Drivers SubFolder).
