Is it possible to add a custom link to a help desk ticket and include the ticket id? (and perhaps e-mail address associated with the ticket)?

http://whatever.com/myapp/launch?key=TICK:12345&email=me@somewhere.com

I'm new to Kace, so I'm not sure what is possible.

Thanks,

Scott

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking... Do you want the email notification when a ticket is created to include a link to the ticket? Or are you trying to create a ticket somehow using this link?

I'm actually talking about adding a link or button on the ticket screen that will open a browser and go to a url.

In this screenshot you will see buttons at the bottom of the ticket. Add Commnet, Save, Add Work, etc.
Is it possible to add a custom button that will just call a link and navigate to a web page?

It may not be possible.
But this is what I'd like to do.

Thanks,

Scott

No, you cannot add or modify buttons. However, you can type out a URL in a comment and it will appear as a clickable link.
