AD group is refreshing after 3-4 hours?
Hi SMS Gurus,
following question: On my SMS 2003 I have a collection which gets its 'members' from an AD group (update every 15 minutes). When I add a machine to this AD group advertisement appears 3-4 hours later in Run Adv. Programs. - Adv. Client cycle is set to 30 minutes, AD group search to every 12 hours.
Adding machine to AD group –> max. 12 hours -> System group discovery -> 15 minutes -> update of collection membership -> 30 minutes -> machine policy retrieval
This should give me a max of 12:45 hour and a min. of a little bit more tha 45 minutes. But advertisements show up always between 3 and 4 hours after adding to AD group.
Is there a problem with SMS or with my considerations (and I have to tweak at another location)?

Turned AD group search to 15 minutes what gives me the following cycle
Adding machine to AD group –> 15 miutes -> System group discovery -> 15 minutes -> update of collection membership -> 30 minutes -> machine policy retrieval
Now my packages appear after 60 minutes what is right. Thanks for your time anyway
