Active Setup for Quicklaunch icon

This is a pretty annoying problem. I am trying to use active setup to populate a shortcut to multilple users' QuickLaunch folders. Works fine for the installing user, but when I log on as another, whether I use the /f repair option or a wisescript that just creates the icon in the current logged on user profile it just doesn't work.

Anybody have comments or experience with this?
Thanks!

Hi Owen,
how exactly have you organized your feature-tree?
Are you aware, that you need a registry key somewhere in the HKCU hive, as key for the component which holds the shortcut?

Hi Nick, cheers for that. I don't think it was a key problem, as I could actually see the repair run on the second user logon yet the icon didn't show up. Then I tried doing REINSTALLMODE=omus but that caused Windows Installer to prompt for the MSI file - no go on that.

Finally I double checked my paths with a Wise EXE and finally got it to work. Not my preferred method but it works.
