Hi Does anyone know how to package this product so that it can be installed silently and unattended? I've tried to run the exe with the /r switch at the start run window, but no setup.iss file was created.

Any ideas?

According the Acronis website, Disk Director Suite 10 is native MSI - it just requires extracting - see the link below for further details.

Installing an Acronis Product from Command-Line

Product documentation is a good thing - if it's read.

Hope this helps,

Thanks Guys,

But this is the response from Acronis :

Hello Dustan,

Thank you for using Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0 http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/diskdirector/

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

We regret to inform you that Acronis Disk Director Suite does not support silent installation. We are really sorry for the inconvenience.

Probably the future versions of Acronis products will support this feature. Unfortunately, we cannot tell you the exact time-frame for the future versions release.

Thank you for taking time to contact us. We are always at your service should you have any further questions.

Best regards,
Nikita Kazanevich

Can you believe this in this day and age.?...LOL...

Gotta love those vendors! If it's native MSI, Nikita is talking from some orifice not normally designed for that purpose.

You can use the silent switch(es) for MSIEXEC.EXE on the extracted MSI. Take a look at MSI.CHM for MSIEXEC's command-line switches.
