Acrobat 8 .itw file? InstallShild Tuner 7?

I have used InstallShield Tuner 6.0 and 7.0 in the past to create transform files (.mst) in order to customize Acrobat for their respective versions. I just received Acrobat 8 Pro and want to do the same. It says on the Adobe site, coming soon - Acrobat Customization Wizard 8 for use with Acrobat 8, keep on the watch for......... It also says you can use InstallShield Tuner 7.0 to customize Acrobat 8, when I went to do so, the AcroStan.itw is nowhere to be found on the Acrobat 8.0 Pro media, therefore I can't do anything in the InstallShield Tuner. Any suggestion? Thanks.

Hi there,

Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.0 does not come with an .ITW file (nice work Adobe!). They actually say on there website 'for Acrobat 8 family, use Installshield Tuner 7'.

So I tried using the ITW file that ships with the Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 source files but it appeas to be locked to that version of the MSI.

I will proceed to package it without the tuner, but this is bad form from Adobe!!

Adobe products are usually so easy to deploy.. this is really out of character!

(It's hard to convey sarcasm on the WWW).

This is useful for licensing information. But it lacks any information about tuning the .msi.

Has anyone found information about the InstallTuner?

*edit* Found this after some more searching:
http://store1.adobe.com/products/acrobat/solutions/it/deployment.html#customize

It says that "Adobe Customization Wizard 8" is "Coming Soon"... yesterday and tomorrow but never today it seems. :(

The customization wizard is now available. It is pretty hard to find. Here is the link: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=3564
