70,000+ users in LDAP

We have a large amount of users to import into the K1000.  When user count reaches 40,000 the K1000 slows to a crawl and is not usable.  THe Service Desk module can not be accessed at all.  Any ideas?

  • Have you tried splitting the import into smaller chunks? Our imports are split by usernames starting with A-I, J-Q, and R-Z. These work for us, but you might need to break the imports into smaller groups. - grayematter 7 years ago
  • We import about 20,000 users nightly (1am) to avoid slow-down during the day (almost all our support staff are in one timezone) - JasonEgg 7 years ago
