64-bit Packaging

Hi,

I am currently using InstallShield 11.5 for packaging 32 bit apps on 32 bit OS platforms.
My question is:
What are the changes/procedure that we need to follow in case of packaging 64 bit apps on 64 bit OS platform using the same tool? Any changes in the way of packaging (like properties addition/deletions etc)??

Can any1 guide us on the overall 64 bit packaging procedue?

Thanks in Advance.

There are many differences. Folder structer is different - there are different folders for 32bit files and 64 bit files. Similarly for registry new keys have been to support both 32bit and 64bit application.

You can wise WPS 7.3SP3 to create MSI which supports x64bit platform. You will see option for enabling a component for x64 platform in component properties. But as far as i know there is no capturing avilable for x64 bit platform!
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
