32 x 64 bit computers?

I have created an installer using wise installer. At the moment, i have 2 install packages, 1 is 32-bit and 1 is 64-bit, i would like to combine the 2 together, so that when the user starts the installer, the installer will check to see if the user has a 32-bit system or a 64 bit system, and install the correct version.

any ideas anyone?

Use the VersionNT & VersionNT64 property as condition for each 32- & 64-bit component(s)

I would have 2 features, 1 for 32 and 1 for 64 then you could either use installlevel OR conditions to achieve the correct result for the installation on the target O/S.

I have the installation ready, but there is a problem. I added 2 features to the installation. 1 is called 32bit and the other, 64bit. Inside each of these are merge modules which install files. I set the 32bit feature condition to 'NOT VersionNT64', and the 64-bit feature condition to 'VersionNT64'

But still, i get a fatal error during installation, and i think its because both of these are being installed.

Any ideas?

set the Featurelevel on both features to 0

then use the condition table to toggle either one to install based on VersionNT properties.
