Scense App Deployment Database

Scense customers have been deploying applications for over 10 years using various deployment architectures and desktop architectures. They have used Windows Installer packages, Generic Installers, Symantec virtual layers, ThinApp packages and App-V packages to enable access to these application on fat clients, TS/Citrix/VDI sessions, laptops, tablets and unmanaged devices.

To help the outside world understand that a real desktop needs more applications than just an MS office suite and Adobe reader (most Daas vendors still seem to think that those applications are all you need), we decided to create a database of real applications deployed via our technology and will share this information with you.

For starters we will share the list of applications and the technology that was used to successfully deploy the applications. The next step will be to share more information about the deployment process itself and start building a community around app deployment.

Please stay in touch to see the database evolve …

Note for application deployment specialists Your colleague specialists have send information about over 1000 applications already. If you want to help with growing the database. please send us a note. We will help you extract the information we need. It will take you less than a minute.
