[Fixed] MSTeams.exe Error 0xc0000020

Microsoft Teams in preinstalled into the Windows 11 Operating System i.e. users will not have to install it explicitly. Sometimes when we try to open Microsoft Teams in Windows 11 it shows an error 0xc0000020. This error indicates that either your Teams app has an error or the app is not designed to run on this Windows. Below we have given some fixes to resolve this error. Just the follow the steps mentioned below and you will be able to resolve this issue.

Steps to Resolve MS Teams Bad Image Error:

Method 1: Reinstall Microsoft Teams

To resolve this bad image error code 0xc0000020 we can try reinstalling MSTeams app. For that Open your Control Panel >> Uninstall a Program >> Choose Microsoft Teams and then click on Uninstall button. >> After the completion of Uninstallation process Restart your Computer and then reinstall MS Teams App.

Check if the error has been resolved or not. If the error still persists then you will need to uninstall Microsoft Teams Again then Delete the Microsoft Teams Folder from Program Files/Windows Applications/ this path >> Now Restart and Reinstall Teams and the error should be resolved now.

Method 2: Reinstalling Windows 11

If you are still facing the error then might be something wrong has happened during the Windows 11 Upgrade process. You will need to reinstall the OS to resolve the issue.

Please install windows teams before downgrading windows 11 to windows 10. Once the process is done, check if the issue has been resolved or not.
