Change Windows registry value from Dell Kace K1000

Hello everyone!

I have a test key in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Test from Dell Kace K1000 and I'm trying to change the value of TestValor. but doesn't change.

Has anyone this problem?

  • My first guess is that you're attempting to push to an x64 machine, which would mean that KACE is pushing the REG entry into the default Wow64Node structure. I would try either calling the REG command in a batch script with appropriate flags to put it in the 32-bit registry tree. - ESFCNS 7 years ago
