Installing & Uninstalling TurningPoint using the MSI.

To install TurningPoint for All Users:

"C:\TurningPoint 2008.msi" /quiet ALLUSERS=1

or

msiexec /jm "C:\TurningPoint 2008.msi" /quiet

If installing on Windows 7 computers you may want to use this switch to avoid installing the * HASP 4 drivers.

"C:\TurningPoint 2008.msi" /quiet HASPFOUND="HASP4 Device Drivers"

* The HASP 4 drivers are older drivers that were used for licensing dongles in TurningPoint 2003 and 2006. They are no longer used because the TurningPoint Receivers are now able to store the licensing information that gets read by TurningPoint. Windows 7 will throw an Unsiged Driver warning message when installing and using TurningPoint with these drivers installed. This is why it is recommended that you skip the HASP 4 installation with Windows 7. Windows XP and Vista will not throw this message as the HASP 4 drivers are signed in these Operating System versions. These drivers should be removed from the installation in versions of TurningPoint > 4.2.2.21.

To do an unattended uninstall of TurningPoint:

msiexec /x {373C7B28-788D-4528-A4AD-86CB960AB615} /qb
