Good information but there is some glitch with Windows XP.
We found every 5 time we start Crystal reports then we get a subscription window. Does someone know how to make it disappear?

Note
This package is easily transformable with WisePS v5.51 InstallTailor. To avoid the registration process on first launch, a few registry keys need to be added to the transform. Steps are:

1) Go through the registration process once to obtain a 10 digit registration code.
2) Place this code into HKLM\SOFTWARE\Seagate Software\Crystal Reports (serial = ##########)
3) Populate the user profile registry keys with what you entered during the registration process. They are located in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Seagate Software\Registration\UserProfile. The keys are Company, Country, Email, FirstName, LastName.

With that, the Crystal Reports user registration process will not occur and will be automatically populated.

Note
If you are choosing to modify the way the MSI installs via a MST, add to the Properties the option PIDKEY with you serial as the data attached to it. That way when you /passive /silent install the msi it will not fail :)

Although obvious thought it should be added as a follow up to the above posts.

About the Help files
For some reason the help files are not selected by default, even when you select the "Complete" installation type.
To make matters worse, the help doesn't work. The path in the registry is off by one folder. To fix it you must import the following:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
;Fixes the location for the Help files.
;Otherwise the help fails silently even after installing it explicitly

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Seagate Software\Crystal Reports\Help]
"En"="C:\\Program Files\\Seagate Software\\Crystal Reports\\Help\\En\\html\\"
