I had problems rolling out the software since sticking in a valid license into the snapshot didnt work. I contacted Propellerhead and got the following info:
The license is stored in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Propellerhead Software\Reason\Reason 2 data.dat Reason changes the file based upon hardware. For example, you have to reauthorize if you add more RAM.
Snapshot the application, roll it out, then you'r gonna have to manually register it the first time on each pc and copy the license files to your server. After you have all the licenses edit your install application object (or run application object) to drop down the license file to the appropriate workstation for reimaging.
e.g. Novell, zenworks, console one application object:
for the above i stored each license file in the reason fil file folder under a subdirectory named after the computers hostname, the source path macro being whever you located your reason fil files.
