ProSolv CardioVascular 4.0.x ships as an MSI from the vendor, but the client application connects to a server which performs an automated update of modified data files and in some cases, files sent from the vendor. The automated update does not leverage an MSI or MSP, so the client application will self-heal repeatedly. In order to prevent the self-heal, create an MST for the install and remove each of the ComponentID GUIDs from the Component table.

Additionally, the vendor MSI ships in version 1.0 format, which does not support performing upgrades. If a previous version of ProSolv is to be upgraded by the 4.0 package, the MSI must be upgraded to version 1.1. Wise Package Studio asks if you would like this upgrade to be performed when specifying the MSI during MST creation.
