WSE

Hi guys!
I'm new here and I'm new with Wise too.
I've got a WSE file in my project in VS2005 and I thought I could edit it to transfer one local file to the target directory of a computer. There are existing scripts like:

item: Copy Local File
Source=%SOURCE_DIR%\Sample.dll
Destination=%TARGET_DIR%\Sample.dll
end

So I copied this and placed my file and saved then built my app but it didn't transfer during installation.
I know this is a newbie question but I really appreciate the help. Maybe I missed a step or something.
Thanks in advance.

Firstly, does the wse script work outside of the main MSI ?
Lets assume it doesnt.

You would need to create variables called %SOURCE_DIR% and %TARGET_DIR%.
Then use "install file" with the variables.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
