Would it be too much trouble not to require to be a member of NASA, NSA, KKK and AAA in order to download this Editor?
I just wanted to give it a try, not planning to marry it ...

You should not need to be a member of anything accept this site. Are you trying to say you had to create a box account to download from box.net? That should not be the case.
If the download is simply failing for you, note that there is a monthly limit on downloads from the various servers and if this limit has been reached you may need to wait until next month to try again. This is why there are multiple listings, but each has a limit that is often reached toward the end of the month.

ITNinja does not have endless resources to devote to downloads. Sites are used that can offer free downloads to users but there is a monthly download limit on all of them. Once that is exceeded, you have to wait until the next month. AFAIK the site is all down to Mr B Kelly and not some large company with deep pockets.

Yes we read the entire thread. The problem is the download site gives NO feedback that it's failing because ITNinja is over their allowed download limit. Why not spend the time and money to get a higher download limit for one of your more popular downloads? The entire reason I bothered to join the site was to try out this tool. The user base you're attracting with this software would probably stick around if they could download it first try or at least get an error from the download site telling us what's up. As it sits I have no real reason to return to the site or bother with the download. I'm guessing by your sarcastic response that's not a concern.

My response was down to the offer I have posted in the thread to send anyone with issues downloading a private link to download from, if they email me directly. Is that really so challenging to spot?
