WISE PROPERTY TABLE VALUES
I am trying to install an MSI made with Wise Packaging Studio. It is a third party application that i am looking to create an MST so that i can deploy through AD. I am wondering if there are generic values (IE, USERNAME=, COMPANYNAME=) that are the same for all WISE property tables across the board that i can use for this install. I have called the vendor of this application for help, but the tech support has no idea what i am talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks

I don't thinks it's only the tech support that has some problem understanding your question [;)]
The only WISE related properties you can find in the Property table starts with Wise or _Wise.
The other are either standard windows installer properties or custom once added by the author.
ex. USERNAME and COMPANYNAME will most likely be automatically populated fromout the registry.
Do you have any specific properties you are wondering about?

It could be stored in any defined property.
If you have WPS you could use InstallTailor to generate a transform which would add the property with the product key when you entered this in the dialog.
In some cases the author has used PIDKEY but I guess it would be easier to do a verbose log of the installation and see which property or properties the product key was added to.
