Windows Media Player 11 Desktop Shortcut

I've created an MSI for WMP11 using the Enterprise Deployment Pack. However, after the deploying, it adds a shortcut to the desktop and start menu. I have been unable to find anything in the MSI referencing a shortcut or in the registry after it has been installed. Anyone have any ideas how this shortcut can be removed for all profiles?

Have you checked the custom actions? Sometimes shortcuts are created by a CA calling for a DLL (and if you're unlucky it will do more than only create shortcuts)

There were only a couple custom actions I saw and nothing referenced about shortcut.

Yes I did try that and it did not remove the shortcut.
