Software Deployment

For all of those who have been waiting on Windows Installer version 3.0 to be available to users who do not have Windows XP SP2 it has finally been released by Microsoft. You can download it here:

To add it to your standard image, just slipstream it in, for more info on sliptreaming updates go here:

I am going to try and deploy this using Windows Installer Wrapper Wizard by Sywan.nl (get it here http://itninja.com/wiww ), I will keep you guys updated on the progress with this. If anyone happens to beat me to it (very possible, I am quite busy today) then please let us all know. I will post a package knowledgebase entry once I have it ready and tested.
