I have had a few of my windows 7 machines fail with their patches, in my XP machines i can still manually install these patches by visiting their Temp folder and running the .exe, Now with Windows 7 it seems that the patches are now .cab files. so how do i manually install those patches now??
Answer Summary:
pkgmgr /ip /m:"%path_to_cab_file%" /norestart /quiet
