I get the same error message when I try to provision a computer because the file share (\client) doesn't seem to be working. I think you're having the same problem as I am, and this is just another presentation of the symptoms..

I'm getting a similar error where everything is successful except for step 3.

Jmlucien,

In your case the provsioning tool is saying that the provision failed due to the fact that you already have an agent installed on that machine. Then step 3 (the deployment of the agent) fails, meaning it stopped because it was not needed.

[05/24/11 11:01:07 AM] K1000 Agent detected via ssh query.
[05/24/11 11:01:07 AM] Version is 5.1.33710.

Since this seems to be the same error that I am encountering and there is no reply with a fix, this is not looking good.. I hope this is just an oversight and there has been a fixed implemented.

FYI:
Just wanted to post a quick update on this. I was able to run a manual install \\kbox\client\agent_provisioning\ (OS) then found that I was having issues with my DNS server it was not resolving the name of my KBOX server back to IP. Once I got this corrected it started working like a charm.
