This is probably because it was browsed to via UNC. The easiest thing is to logout out and log back in to the workstation, then it should work.  Instead you could open the command prompt, and type in net use to see what paths are open.  You can then do:

net use \\<k2ip>\share /delete to free up the path from being used, but it doesn't always work.
