W2K Energy Options

I need some help with a script to modify the currend Energieoptions.
I want to deploy the pakage with a distribution tool, so I do not have to take care about rights. Due to Spying I found several RegKeys to be modifiyed, but is is still not working properly. In a Forum about "saving money with energieoptions" I found an article, that its not possible to change the settings by the regkeys, instead I have to use the API.
Any Ideas?

Are you asking how to change the Energy Star settings? Like when to spin down hard drives or turn off the monitor?

Yes of course. I think Poweroptions is the better word for it.
