Virtual Capture

I am not able to understand the virtual capture methodolgy during setup capture ? Anyone can explain me ?

virtual capture using wise package studio, the installation is done into a SOE (standard operating environment) file. These means that the file isn't actual installed to the hard drive as it usually do.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
