I have a customer who's packaging Standard requires that all source files are placed inside an external cab.

I have a Vendor MSI, that has all the sources files uncompressed out side the msi, and I am creting a Transform and want to compress the source files into a cab file to comply with the standards.

I have tried WISE, tweaking the attrubtes in the file table and updating the media table but have only succeeded in it creating an empty CAB file and also I have tried the WiMakCab.vbs script with a /C and "/C /U" from the Intel Install SDK..but I just get the following log :

MakeCAB Report: Mon Oct 20 16:16:12 2008
Total files: 0
Bytes before: 0
Bytes after: 0
After/Before: 0.00% compression
Time: 0.01 seconds ( 0 hr 0 min 0.01 sec)
Throughput: 0.00 Kb/second

The MSI obviously does have the Files listed in the file table so I am at a loss as to why the script is not seeing them.

Any ideas?

School boy error - I converted the MSI to WSI and changed the build properties to what I want and all is well...apologies.
