USMT file upload

Is there away to upload a user state to the k2000 if it is created using the usmt tool on the local machine? I have a couple user states that I had to create locally since the k2000 couldn't connect to the machines, and I want to have them available for deployment through the k2000.

This is not possible.

But you could deploy the user state to a clean machine and capture from there.

I guess what I want to know is there a way for me to upload the .mig file to the K2000 appliance so that it can basically store the file. I find it hard to believe that it's not possible to transfer a .mig file up to the device unless you use the scan state from the appliance itself. If it's not possible then I'll just move those .mig files that I have to manually create using scanstate on the local machine to another server.

If you're just looking for storage you can upload whatever you like to \\k2\petemp; but if you want K2 to be able to deploy the profile as part of an image or script it needs to capture it on it's own.

Yea petemp would be a good location to store the user state. PETEMP is mapped automatically in KBE as t:\. So you could loadstate from there or copy it down to workstation via xcopy or something along that line.
