Using binary resources in custom actions

Hi all,
i've imported a reg-file into binary data in the resources screen (WPSv5).
The idea is to call this data using a custom action (just installing the reg-file, and call it from command-line is no option unfortunately)
Anyone has any idea?

Why can't you import that reg file into the registry table?

It isn't a registry-addition, it's a reg file that removes all redundant entries of previously installed versions,
so it has to be executed before the actual sw install

You can actually do this using the RemoveRegistry table.

This table removes regsitry keys upon installation of the specified component.

I'm struggling to understand what you're trying to do... Can't you use the "RemoveRegistry" table?

Also, you can still import a reg file that removes registry keys with regedit.exe.
