Using APPV with Adobe captivate 4.0 - Licence Error

i am fairly new to APPV and have been given the above to sequence.
I can run the app fine within the local environment, and when i run it whilst monitoring in appv it all appears fine.
But when i run the app i get a generic error that Licensing for this product has stopped working and it requests a reboot.
I understand this is to do with the flexera licence service and i know appv doesnt like services that run as part of an app so im guessing this is why i am having the issue, although i have been told this has been done before, but can't find any information on anyone who has got it to work!
I have packaged many appv apps and had no issues, but i dont normally package any with services that need to run so wondering if this is the issue?
any help would be greatly appreciated!

Add your FlexNet licenses as Environmental variables to the virtual bubble(in OSD file). If it didn't work add them to Physical Machine Environmental variable.
Usually they will be like this
Environmental Variable Name: Flexne_License_Key
Value: 12345@abc123
Add in System Context so they will be available to all users
