I have a few computers (XPsp3) that still have to run the Novell client (4.91sp5) so I zipped the relevant installation files and associated them with the client software in inventory. Then I added an item for download in the User Portal. This method has been working but now it has quit doing so. When I log in as the user and click to download the zip file, it is always empty. If I log in the admin page and look at the properties, I cannot get the download buttton to stay selected. If I go to the associated software in inventory, I can download the zip file and it works fine.

I tried switching from firefox (3.57) to IE 8 and I tried making the kbox a trusted site with very low security settings but that hasn't worked. The Kbox is at version 5.0.25766.

Out of curiosity, I checked a couple other zipped files available for download in the portal and got the same results.

What the bleep am I missing?

This is a known bug. It is fixed in version 5.1
If you contact support we can give you a fix for version 5.0.25766
