User Panel: License Key tab

I've been digging through the documentation, and I can't seem to find what this tab get populated with. I have a long list of enterprise keys for microsoft office and such, and I thought it would be nice if a tech could log in and copy and paste the key rather than read it from a piece of paper which is the current method >.<

It would be awesome if I could populate this list with these keys.

I believe this gets populated with software that is setup in the Software Library (Admin Portal, Service Desk). Once you download or install a title from the Software Library in the User Portal the license keys appear in License Keys.

We have started putting our license keys in the Asset module and technicians can retrieve them from there. It's also nice because the other details concerning the license are (or will be) all located in one place.

When I insert a product key under a software title I have, it merely makes that key appear on software page under the user panel. Doesn't show up under the License Keys tab.

I'll have to look into the Assets thing. Its more than I need at this time but maybe in the future...

The license keys don't show up in the License Keys tab until I downloaded one of the programs in software titles. I think that it doesn't consider the license key "mine" until I have the software.

Oh I see how it works now. It'll only show up in that list if its a "download" not a "script" or "install". And once I download it on one computer that items key will show up when ever I log in. Now if only I could pre-populate that list for myself and my techs, so we don't have to click on each download once. I have about 20 licenses used often enough to be on this list

Why don't you make a report that list the keys for your techs?

If you don't want them to be admins you can give them a reduced role.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
