User name
Another newbie question. In the computer inventory, when you look at a computer's record, if it has something in the User Name field, does that mean that that user is logged onto the computer at that time?

That would be the user name of the person logged in when the machine lasted inventoried.
It could have changed but would not be reflected till inventory happens again.

There is an issue with 5.3 that would make the answer yes, but the intended behaviour is what dchristian said. Call support if you want that fix.
