Uploading backup files to k1000 VM stuck at 0%

Im trying to upload backup files onto our test VM thats running a k1000.  These are backups of our production system physical k1000.  The bar has stayed at "uploading (0%) for hours.

Any ideas what could cause this?  The VM is running in vmware player workstation 12,

  • How are you trying to upload the files to the K1000? If you're having issues, you may want to use a FTP program like filezilla.

    Also, are you trying to upload the same name as a backup that's already on the K1000? - KACE_Irwin 8 years ago
  • turns out the allow FTP check box was not checked on the test system. - brianfulcher15 8 years ago
  • That will do it. I just did the same thing last weekend. FTP has to be enabled for it to work. If you took the backup the same day as you are trying to upload it, you will need to delete the old backup from the same day. - zgillette 8 years ago

I had to enable check box for allow FTP on the test system
