Update windows installer InstallSource
Hello,
How can I redirect the source path from an admin install to a new server ?
Are there switches to msiexec to do this job ?

The installation source for an MSI is held in the registry. Look under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\{machineSID}\Products\{productguid}\

I'm not certain this is the only location. I've also found the following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\{CLSID}\SourceList
Is there a windows installer fonctionnality to update all keys ?

Darwin Sanoy at http://desktopengineer.com/ used to have a script that could change all the source locations. Have a look and see if its still there.
