Unplugging USB Keys

Hi all,

We are running Windows 2000, and lock the users down. What I am trying to do is give the users access to unplug their USB Keys safely.

At the moment, they can right click on the icon and select unplug device. But as soon as they click on it, its say they dont have the access to do it.

What is it I need to do to give the users access to unplug there USB keys.

Thanks in advance.

Damian

Please check this before taking my word for it..as i havent touched 2000 in years.
But in XP we have the same retriction righ click will get restiction.
But if you left click the icon then you get a alt tag style pop up that allows u to unmount.
Pls chk if the functionality extends to 2000... its a long shot but it may be a quick fix.
