Uninstalling MSI with different Upgradecode

I know apps of the same 'family' are meant to have the same upgradecode, but is it still possible for an MSI to uninstall an older MSI even if the upgradecode is different?

My problem is that I want to install the Citrix client 10.2, but I want to uninstall Citrix Client 9.2 as part of the install, but this older 9.2 client has a different upgradecode to 10.2. I'm using Wise Package Studio, if I add the older 9.2 client MSI to Upgrades in Installation Expert, will RemoveExistingProducts still uninstall it OK, or should I change the Citrix Client 10.2 upgradecode so it matches the Citrix 9.2 upgradecode?

Hi Nick,
just add the older version to the Upgrades and it will be found and uninstalled.
Why not simply give it a try? No risk, no fun :-)

That's exactly what I've done and it seems to work fine, thanks Nick.
