Uninstalling AIM silently

Anyone know if there is a way to uninstall AIM silently? I'm trying to setup SMS so it will remove AIM if it's deteced on a users computer.

Find the uninstall string in the registry. It'll be in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{ProductCode}\UninstallString

I know what the uninstaller is. It's the silent part I can't get to work. I've been able to locate 2 switches

/popupmsgbox="n" /checkmutx="n"

It doesn't prompt the user to do anything other than hit "close" when it's done, but it's still displaying itself to the user.

I presume you've tried the command lines shown in the 'Package KB' article(s) http://www.appdeploy.com/packages/detail_pf.asp?id=561?
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
