Uninstalleing Registry keys with WISE script uninstaller

Hey all,

Im not really much of a developer as what I really do is testing and R&D(Please don't destroy this newbie ). I have recently come across the need to setup an uninstall script where WISE should delete 2 reg keys related to the software registration. When using the installation expert I'm unable to access those keys since it will only give me a very limited list which does not inlcude them, I then changed to the script view and edited the lines of the reg keys to point to the values I need to be deleted. Needless to say it is not working and I'm really lost why.

Any help you guys may give me would be great. FYI, the following are the values in the registry that I need to delete:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\APPCOMP

and the value(REG_DWORD) within this key is named "app09".

_____________
The other one is : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDlls

and the value(REG_DWORD) to be deleted within this key is named "C:\windows\system32\kernell.app09"

Thanks a mil people![;)]

why complicate things? regedit, a .reg file, & a couple of well placed hyphens should do the trick.

Quoting vbscab.... google! or better yet, bing it! :-)
